Yugioh TCG – The dark magician girl

Chances are, you are one of the millions that watch the animated series and you are then probably already familiar with the dark magician card. Some of you reading this are already owners of entire dueling decks based on the dark magician and black chaos cards. If you happen to have either deck, and you will most likely want to be sure that you own another card or your Yugioh Trading Cards dueling deck: The Dark Magician Girl.

This card could very easily be a perfect complement to your decks, centering on magician cards. The reason that the dark magician girl card is so strong isn't because it starts with 2000 attack power, it can also gain attack power through a special ability. The special ability of this card is to raise its attack power by 300 for each and every magician card in either your graveyard, your opponent's graveyard or both.

Picture yourself with a magician deck in hand dueling another player, who is playing with a magician deck. Imagine that you now play your dark magician girl card after you have both lost a few magician cards to the graveyard and you can easily see yourself starting this card with 3000 attack power or higher, and being a very powerful play on its own.

Despite the fact that this card is a rare, it can often be worth paying a little more money just to have it added into your dueling deck.

Clearly a more powerful card, the dark magician starts with more power than the girl version, but it also increases attack power for all dragon cards that have hit the graveyard as well as magician cards. However playing both cards will often work in your benefit, because they work as a good combination since they can each make each other stronger. If you already own one or the other card, then you should seriously consider obtaining the other because they work so well together.

The chaos magician cards are even stronger. Despite the fact that these magicians have higher starting attack power, losing them during a duel will simply add 300 attack power to your Yugioh Dark Magician Girl. So playing these magician cards first can often be a very strong way to open an attack against your opponent while using your magician girl to come in at the end and destroy whatever is left over since she will now have a comparable attack power. Finally, you can then play your dark magician card to have an even higher attack power!

There are obviously many different strategies for playing magician cards in combination, but you should be more than willing to play around and find a strategy that works best for you.
